Meghan Porter, FACET Class of 2021 and Lecturer of Chemistry at IU Bloomington. Porter teaches courses in inorganic and general chemistry, and is especially interested in the development of lab and course assignments involving real-world applications of metals in medicine.

Faculty Academy on Excellence in Teaching (FACET) is a community of Indiana University (IU) faculty members who are committed to being—and helping others to be—exceptional educators. FACET strives to further IU’s teaching mission by helping faculty explore new teaching methods, advance the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and connect with each other to form a university-wide network for teaching excellence.
