She was one of India's passionate freedom fighters, a great poetess too; through her poems, she awakened the spirit of freedom struggle of India. She was known as the ‘Nightingale of India’. Sarojini Naidu was very brilliant since her childhood; she started writing poems from a very young age.</p>
