In chapter 1 of the book of Revelation we get an introduction to the book within the text, including its authorship and location, and we see Jesus in all his glory, walking among the golden candlesticks. This beautiful chapter describes the Lord in stunning imagery and sets the stage for the introduction of the seven churches that will be explored in chapter 2.
