Host Siobhán Smith welcomes Ro Crawford, Chief Transformation officer at the Data Communications Company (DCC) in the UK. The (DCC) is a subsidiary of Capita and has the responsibility of managing the UK's smart meter infrastructure and roll out. Ro’s role is to accelerate business improvements via a partnership model of using third party suppliers to build, mature and run key capabilities for DCC. She’s just been appointed to head up a major transformation project in DCC. Her task will be to help define their strategy, and how they set themselves up for success.
Ro has extensive experience in the Energy Sector. She was Portfolio Governance Director at British Gas, where she was responsible and accountable for overseeing and reporting on the performance of the UK Energy Supply and Service Business. There, she played a key role enabling a saving of £300m annually which I think you’ll agree makes her a perfect candidate to join us today to talk about the next success factor ‘Successfully keeping to budget’..
