Focal epilepsy is the most common type of epilepsy. Seizures in focal epilepsy come from one particular area of brain or one "focus". The etiology is either something you're born with (congential: dysplasia, heterotopia, perinatal stroke etc.) or something that acquired (i.e stroke, trauma, infection, etc). Like what you hear?
