In the inaugural episode, I discuss the deep meaning behind the title of the podcast itself. I also speak on how the first half of 2020 affected me and how those feelings led to the creation of the Expectations. Also on the docket, I speak on the ongoing misinterpretation of what is seen to be "progress" and what we all should expect of our government officials and each other. Overall, I am introducing myself to you and I am asking for everyone to join me on the beginning of this crazy ride to a better tomorrow.

Throughout our entire lives, we measure our success by our expectations,—more importantly through the expectations of others. In relation to politics, there seems to be this disconnect between what elected officials do and what society has allowed them to do. This podcast explores and has meaningful conversations around everything involving politics, but also raising the expectations society should have on our government itself.
