This is my attempt to address the critical unrest we have right now in America around the black lives matter movement, or at least attempt to understand my place in all of it. &nbsp;&nbsp;Some of the main points I hope to get across:&nbsp;
- I am trying to be an active listener
- I am seeking first to understand&nbsp;
- I am trying to challenge my own assumptions in order to create new and more wholistic beliefs&nbsp;
- I am seeking habits and routines I can implement to make this awakening become part of who I am and how I think&nbsp;
- &nbsp;I believe open dialogue is a critical tool to help us navigate this &nbsp;
- I realize this is not about "other people" this is about you and I identifying and challenging our own prejudices
- I realize to hut you is to hurt me&nbsp;
- I realize we are all one, unique but united &nbsp;&nbsp;
