The 12 History books show us how Israel was established in the Promise Land, and how they eventually built the temple, where the presence of God was. But also tells of the many struggles they had along the way, the good and the bad kings, and how God is patient and merciful. These are exciting books, filled with romance, wars, betrayal, mystery, adventure, action. But Jesus come and give us access to God by His own blood, and now we can go boldly into His presence.
