In this episode of the Everything with Val Podcast, I discuss "My origin story". I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa. Yet, after graduating from high school I then moved to Florida, USA. 

During my time in the U.S., I fell in love, studied abroad, and realized that I needed to live closer to home.  Once I graduated from Lynn University I moved to Belgium to pursue a Master's degree in Political Science. After all my years studying I decided to rejoin my boyfriend in Stockholm, Sweden. 

Cut to 2021, we are living in Stockholm, Sweden. I work in the start-up environment here and love all things life, current events, and travel. I really wanted to create a podcast to bring a fresh, authentic, and vulnerable feel to an important medium. 

So excited to begin this Podcast journey.
