Are you burned out, maybe in your early twenties, trying to survive in an industry that is hellbent on working you to death? Good news, there's an anime for that! 

In this episode, I'll be talking about Shirobako, one of my all-time favorite animes. It's about a group of young women who move to Japan to follow their dreams of working in the animation industry. Whether its animation, voice acting, scriptwriting, or production, they all are fighting for their dream jobs. It's a beautifully modern story about working hard on your art and bringing it to fruition before you burn out completely. Its also a great story about balance and community, as well as the compassion that has to be had in an artistic industry in order for it to thrive.
