Show notes
This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Rob O'Gara, former professional hockey player and current assistant coach to the Men's Hockey team at Yale, on his experience with mental health challenges as an elite athlete. In this episode, Rob shares the ups and downs of his journey playing professional hockey, from suffering from a back injury, to experiencing feelings of burnout and acute stress on and off the ice. We also chat about how his experience playing professionally has informed his approach to coaching, and what brings Rob a bit of endorphins every day.
