Today, we continue our meditation with Blessed Alberione, SSP and the early Church Fathers regarding types and symbols of people and events in the Old Testament that take on new meaning and ultimate fulfillment in Mary, the Virgin Mother of Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Word of the Father.   One of the symbols I like best in this reflection is Mary as "mouth of the Most High" (Ecclesiasticus 24:5). Is Mary not "mouth of the Most High"? Did she not silently bring forth the Word spoken of God the Father? You see? This is a lovely way to read scripture! I hope you enjoy these reflections, as we continue reading in Bl. Alberione's book Mary, Hope of the World.
