The past week has seen 18 new exchange traded funds (ETFs) issued  globally, with several on Korea Exchange (KRX), and two from Korean  issuer, Global X Funds, launched on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). The  SPAC & New Issue ETF issued on NYSE Arca represents an evolution of  investment in special purpose acquisition vehicles (SPACs).

With total ETF assets under management being close to $8 trillion by  the end of the year – barring anything unforeseen happening –  and flows  close to $700 billion which is a record, 2020 has been a year of many  breakthroughs, both positive and negative.
