Too often we think that fellowship is done in church on Sunday morning. We act as though because we sat in a pew, sang songs together, and possibly “turned and greeted our neighbors” (if your church does that), we have fulfilled our call to fellowship.But fellowship is not a hey, hello, how are you? And you respond by saying blessed and highly favored and you each go on about your day. Fellowship is a calling in our lives. It is a continuous action. It is a state of being and moving through life with other believers. It’s not something that we turn on and turn off every Sunday. Being a disciple is about fellowship with God and fellowship with other believers.
