As believers, as disciples, we are commanded to love. This love is not conditional. Because God’s love for us is not conditional. In our sin, muck, shame, and regret, God’s love for us was no less than it was when we accepted the gift of salvation. Therefore our love for others should reflect that as well. We are called to love the Holy people and broken people. When we say that we love well it means that we love God fully, our love for him and others is an act of worship and obedience.
