In this essential episode of VeteranPerspectives, host and combat veteran Jeff Connell draws a stark comparison between the Vietnam War and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He argues that both conflicts followed the same damaging pattern: a lie of purpose, financial misallocation, systemic betrayal of troops, and a collective national amnesia.

Listen as he shares his personal "confession" and historical analysis, calling for the nation to stop prioritizing corporate profit and political expediency over the human costs of war. This episode is a demand for better long-term veteran care, true accountability, and the creation of a national memorial for the post-9/11 generation.
