Really great for intermediate Spanish! Most podcasts are either way too fast or for beginners and really slow. This one is perfect for speed and adding in just the right amount of new vocabulary. Also really interesting topics!

I tried to start walking spanish tv shows, but they were speaking too quickly for me to understand completely. This speed is great for learning and getting comfortable listening to the language !

This podcast has been the key for me to gain confidence and skill understanding spoken Spanish. The topics are interesting and diverse so you can pick up vocabulary in many areas. The presenter is the most clearly spoken presenter I’ve found, making it easier to recognize words and train your ear. I’d 100% recommend this podcast for people who have a solid base of Spanish, but feel behind on their audio comprehension. This unlocked so many other podcasts for me!

I love this show! the stories are interesting and not too long. I’m learning Spanish vocabulary, improving word recognition, and learning fun facts all at once.

Por suerte encontré este cuando estaba buscando algo nuevo para practicar la comprehensión auditiva. I wish there were more things like this out there--while there are plenty of podcasts en español, of course, there's a real shortage of material out there for people whose listening comprehension isn't quite up to functional fluency, but still want something interesting, engaging, and naturalistic to listen to--so we can practice while learning interesting things at the same time (I'm currently at about a B1 level equivalent). I love how words likely to be unfamiliar are defined, in context, and IN SPANISH; the audio quality and narration is excellent; and the subject matter is varied, interesting, and never "dumbed down" (despite the patiently and meticulously intermediate-level language). So simple, you might think--but in fact so hard to get just right! This podcast is created with love and care by someone who understands linguistics and teaching, and it really shows. ¡Muchas gracias por crear este podcast!

Perfect for practicing listening comprehension with interesting topics and a great voice

I am loving these bite sized interesting stories. She manages to tell a whole, engaging story in under 10 minutes! The Spanish is easy enough to understand, but still challenging enough that I am learning new things. This is a painless way to improve your ability to understand native speakers. Keep them coming!

Excellent intermediate podcast but the volume level is too low. Please set the recording at a higher base volume. Thank you for offering one of the few podcasts available at this level.

This is a great podcast for anyone who wants to practice Spanish. I love variety of topics, and the short episodes make it easy to listen in moments of free time. Plus, the host has a great voice that I love listening to.
