SomeBODY once told me this movie's gonna roll me... and they were right. We're all told classic fairy tales as children, stories like Cinderella and Snow White to name a few; and they serve as cautionary tales made up to teach us some sort of a life lesson. What Shrek does is the complete opposite. From the very start, you know you're in for a cartoonish over-the-top sarcastic parody of your standard Disney-esque fare. And who can forget the memes?
