IMPACTFUL INTERVIEW with Jorge Quintero, Rice University Alumnus & Electrical Engineer turned Sale Tech Engineer + Brain Performance Coach!
Welcome to Segment 1 of Jorge's Interview!
Full disclaimer, Jorge's successful stem story is so impactful that it made my mom tear up upon listening to it.
Here's why--Jorge speaks on:
1) Living paycheck to paycheck with undocumented parents from Mexico
2) His dad's mental-breakdown from not being able to use his engineering degree in the United States & provide for his family
3) Taking on massive financial & emotional responsibility as the first-born of his siblings
4) The blessing that turned his fear into faith and helped him become an electrical engineer from a prestigious university
BUT SURPRISE! Typical STEM success stories end there, right? Well not on this podcast.
Jorge also discusses:
5) Being unhappy in his position as an engineer and how he left it regardless of his family's dissent
6) The multiple career pivots he made until he got to where he is now!
