<p>As a survivor of sexual assault in childhood and a narcissistic partner in adulthood, I wanted to tell my story from start to finish. This episode is a brief intro to my life story. It does contain personal growth and a happy ending, but trigger warnings: sexual assault, adult language, parental neglect, relationship trauma, sexual content.</p>

Encountering Rattlesnakes is the life story of a woman who survived childhood sexual abuse, parents with mental illness, and was diagnosed with bipolar 2 as an adult. It's a part-lighthearted, part-hard-hitting life story, full of trauma with a nice dose of eyerolling. This story is published to help others understand one woman's journey, and to help those with similar journeys to cope and recognize that they aren't alone in what they felt.
