Chuy Rodriguez self-describes as a family man and an artist. As a wildly talented love photographer based in Los Angeles, Chuy is used to existing in vulnerable spaces with his clients. The nature of his work has taught him that we invite authenticity from others by embodying it first.

1. Table Question: What is something that your parents gave you that you want to carry with you throughout adulthood, and what’s something that was modeled to you that you want to shift and do differently?
2. Journal Prompt: Identify a dream that you’re currently afraid of saying out loud and write it down on paper. Set a timer for ten minutes and let your imagination run wild as you free write. Tell your inner critic to take a seat for these sacred ten minutes as you give yourself permission to dream without limits.
3. Action Step: Like Chuy suggested, sit in front of a mirror for two minutes every morning this week and practice embodying the most confident version of yourself. What would the most confident version of you say to your present self? You have everything you need to step into the next, already-living-on-the-inside, endlessly expansive version of you.
