<p>In this episode of Emerging ______, we explore the idea of social media's rising prevalence as we have grown as adults. On October 5, 2021 the social media blackout of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp had worldwide implications. Social media gives unlimited opportunities for freedom of expression and growth; but also perpetuates the idea of a "highlight reel" of our lives.&nbsp;</p>

Emerging _____ is a student-led organization at the Community College of Beaver County in Pennsylvania. We will "fill in the blank" with topics relevant to the forward-thinking individual to learn from connections and amplify student voices. Through student discussions and interviews with business professionals, we will grow together as creators and listeners by asking the questions we want to know.
