In this episode we will be discussing the following issues with Serkan, (a Turkish scholar whom we befriended on our Master's): Turkeys eastward pivot, historical precedent and a divided West (US/UK and Europe); the many-faces of Erdoğan (technocrat, Islamist, survivor) and, the Kurdish question (in my view it has been answered by the West's ambivalence to the Kurds).
