It is very common for people to react to adverse circumstances by feeling like a victim. This is the Victim Saboteur at work. There are circumstances where we have been victimized by the actions of another, or by life. But we need never define ourselves as a "victim." Instead, we know that through Christ we are given victory over every circumstance. Romans
