<p>Daniel Gortz is a political philosopher, sociologist, and a leader of “the nordic school” of metamodernism. He received his PhD in sociology from the Lund University in Sweden. He is also one half of the Hanzi Frienacht duo, an alias under which he has released “The Listening Society” and “The Nordic Ideology” -  two groundbreaking books that unpack the metamodern philosophy.
