Great show, great concept, great ear candy
This show is a great way to hear about those games that you might otherwise have missed. What makes it a 5 star review is the chemistry between the hosts. I could listen to these guys talk about cheese. The conversation comes across as natural and unrehearsed while still feeling professional. You get the feeling that you're part of the conversation with friends rather than just listening to people from the outside. These guys deserve to be heard by more people so spread the word.

Game Club Talks About Games. Yay!
The hosts of most video game podcasts are almost always talking about games from a distance, from games they're looking forward to playing, to games they played twenty years ago (and have completely forgotten), to games they actually have played, but they're the only one, so instead of a discussion you end up with a description.
Game Club is hosted by a group who have all played the game in question, they've done it very recently, and (my favorite part) they always bring a variety of conflicting but honest opinions to the podcast. This is how it should be done.
And the variety is excellent. From 90's classics to unknown indie titles. Listening to this podcast always makes me want to play the game in question.

Great format
Love the idea of the show. So many game related podcasts would just re-hash the latest E3 news and talk about the game industry in its current state. The Game Club's book-club style format lets the hosts compare notes on the same game that they've all played. Really gets the listener engaged - either they have played the same game and let's the listener compare notes along with the hosts, or the reviews and host reactions to games are so well that the listener WANTS to play the games after listening to the podcast. Keep up the great work.

Great source for hidden gems!
A podcast full of thoughtful and entertaining gamers. Every fortnight they review some lesser known indy and older games. It's run like a book club so you can play along with the show and get in the chat for the live show.ore people need to know about this.

Informed look at off beat, classic, and indie games
Full disclosure, I've working with Phil and Steve in the past on Shamoozal Radio Podcast, but I have nothing to do with the Elder GeekGame Club other than being a fan. Steve, Phil, and Randy do a good job of talking about games that often get passed over in main stream websites and podcasts, and try their best to give a level headed, critical view of the week's game. Good stuff!
