In today's market recap, the S&P 500 went up by 1.85% to close at $4,136.25. Energy was the best-performing sector, up 2.71%. Regional banks rebounded today, and there was a proposed bill for a federally mandated $17 minimum wage across the US. The US authorities are probing Goldman Sachs to uncover their role in the Silicon Valley Bank collapse. On the earnings side, AMC beat loss per share estimates, and Cigna jumped 7%.
