Prof. S. Mahendra Dev Director and Vice-Chancellor IGIDR (it is an advanced research institute established by the Reserve Bank of India). Former Chairman CACP Ministry of Agriculture.   He is member of the Board of Trustees of International Food Policy Research Institute, Washington, D.C. He is also a member of National Statistical Commission in the rank of Secretary to Government of India.  Prof. Dev has more than 100 research publications in national and international journals. Oxford University Press has recently published his book Inclusive Growth in India. He has been a consultant and adviser to many International Organizations, such as UNDP, World Bank, International Food Policy Research Institute, ILO, FAO, and ESCAP. He is also a member of the newly constituted Expert Panel on poverty estimates chaired by Dr C.
