Monserrat G. Aguilar, a transfer student from East Los Angeles College (ELAC) to UC Santa Cruz, shares a poem titled &quot;The Perfect Woman&quot;. Aguilar is an undocumented scholar majoring in Literature. She fell in love with reading as child learning a new language, but never thought about writing creatively until her last semester at ELAC. Her career goal is to become an English professor.
