Dumpster Divers
If you're tired of the incessant highlights on Instagram and endless Lebron fetishism that social media has become, look no further. This pod is for the Philly sports fan who isn't all about the flashy passes and headlines, but taking a different perspective on some more interesting, niche topics. If you like Kendrick Nunn or Michael Conforto you've come to the wrong place.

#14: I don't want to talk about the Eagles anymore.
At long last we haphazardly tie a bow on the 2020 Philadelphia Eagles season before diving into the best team in the NBA. - Did Hayden even watch Sunday Night Football against THE Football Team? - Have we seen Kelce, Wentz, and Baby Ertz play their final games? - Did losing to Washington REALLY benefit the Eagles' draft position? - What makes this year's Sixers truly different than the others? - Should Darryl Morey consider dealing one of his hottest players? - Is the sky the limit for our first place 76ers? - How will this hot team fare against tougher opponents this week like the Nuggets and Nets?

#13: EMERGENCY POD - Jalen Hurts: Handsomest Man on Turf
The Eagles 24-21 victory over the Saints with Jalen Hurts at the helm was worthy of the inaugural emergency pod.   -Should the Doug haters go back into hiding? -Do we have the new face of the franchise in the form of a chiseled #2? -Why is a QB out of Alabama/Oklahoma vs a QB from North Dakota St even a competition? -WHAT ON EARTH are the Eagles actually going to do this offseason? Without a doubt the most emotional podcast of the season...

#12: QAnon lover Bryce Harper vs Bad Quarterback Carson Wentz
What the hell...  It feels like just days ago we were rejoicing over a Daryl Morey hiring and hoping this football team could turn the tide, yet here we are a few weeks later with a 3-7-1 football team, a general manager who can't pick an SEC footballer, and a star baseball player who really believes donating to QAnon is more important than stopping a spread...  Oddly enough the one silver lining for Dumpster Divers?  Rutgers football...  Join us as we commiserate this football team and a baseball star who clearly was never taught maturity.

#11: The Eyes of TJ Eckleburg played by Angelo Cataldi
We do our best to preview the upcoming divisional matchup with the Giants, but this game may be too tough to talk about.  Though the Birds are returning a healthier cast than we're used to there's a weird feeling about Sunday.  Instead of spending the whole episode breaking down the green bird team we take a shift and compare the key characters surrounding the Eagles and match them up with Great Gatsby characters.  Even after a tangent like that the Dumpster Diver gang is able to reign it in and re-evaluate the playoff situation at the midway point of the season with a couple steaming hot takes.  Now that Darryl Morey is in town we briefly touch on the Sixers and give ownership a long over due people's elbow, the Morey grace period is over.  And everyone's favorite part of each Dumpster Divers' episode, 5-10 minutes of Rutgers football jabber.    P.S. There is a general consensus that 2014 is the single best year for movies in recent memory.

#10: Dallas Hate Week + Darryl Morey's Arrival - The Flow before the Ebb
It's an honor to have you along for the ride in the first Dallas hate week in Dumpster Divers history.  It just so happens that this is also the best week the 76ers franchise has had since the conception of Dumpster Divers, with their signing of DARRYL FREAKIN MOREY.  We preview the Eagles vs Dallas week going against little Baby Ben Dinucci as well as exploring the possible moves and excitement of a fresh Sixers front office.  The "1-2 punch" of mediocre Sixer Elton Brand and NBA titan Darryl Morey have made it official... The Sixers are back

#09: Inaugural Victory Friday Pod: Cute Little Boston Scott edition
The first. and maybe only victory Friday edition of Dumpster Divers after a 22-21 win that SHOULD be celebrated.  We have our knee jerk reactions to the win and even dive into a Rutgers football preview.  Montee Ball = Enemy of the pod.  Is the insult strapper under used?  HOW DOES AMAR'E STOUDEMIRE HAVE A JOB?

#08: Birds stifle the Greg Kittle led ex NFC Champs
The Eagles won a football game at long last, but we're looking ahead to the tall task of Sunday's Pittsburgh Steelers.  What positives came out of last Sunday's game, and is Cris Collinsworth an anti masker?  Hayden explains the biggest benefit of the newest 76er head coach Glenn Rivers: The Eastern Conference Coaches Theorem...

#07: Tying the Bungles: An unsalvageable season
At the moment being a sports fan Hurts... Jalen Hurts...  An hour and some change of Hayden and I wallowing in the Bengals tie and the Phillies incompetency.  A completely normal day in the normal city of Philadelphia where great things happen all the time.

#06: Philly sports: Getting beat to shreds all over the place
You get too busy to record a podcast one week and everything returns to normal the next...  Since we last talked, football is back and the Phillies played 10 games, words I would have committed a small felony to hear just three months ago.  However life ain't all peaches and cream when you blow a 17-0 lead to the Washington Football team and Hayden's 2-5 prediction against the Marlins comes to fruition.  A collapsing baseball team actively losing the 8th, that's right 8th, playoff spot in baseball, and the Philadelphia Football Eagles laying down for a week 1 loss against one of the weaker teams in the NFL...  Sports are back, and Philadelphia is on fire.  Would you expect anything else?
