Every once in a while we encounter an especially odd story in the Bible whether it's about a sin we have difficulty wrapping our heads around one like this that tells us of how Abram reacted to a famine that hit the land he and his family were living in by traveling to Egypt and telling his wife to lie in order to save his life. And yet in the midst of all the confusion going on around them, we discover something beautiful hidden within this gem of a story despite its chaos.
