On this week’s episode of Droppin Dimes we open up the show with the following question: “Is LeBron James an activist, social media activist or social activist?”
The question stems from James’ ongoing back-and-forth with President Donald Trump.
We also touch on the #MeToo movement and how little it has rocked the world of sports. There have been a couple of minor events but nothing major.
When the conversation moves to the PAC – 12 we end up talking about YG and his support for Utah Athletics.

DROPPIN DIMES 036: “Let The Games Begin”

With a background in both news and sports, Brittany Johnson got her start in the world of television at CBS2/KCAL9 News in Los Angeles. While working at the duopoly, Brittany worked alongside one of the nation’s most respected sports anchors and former NFL Defensive Back Jim Hill, and occasionally with seven-time NBA All-Star “Big Game James” Worthy.  Brittany fell in love with the world of sports and journalism from a young age. She always knew that she wanted to play basketball and be a sports reporter. As an athlete, Brittany grew up playing basketball, volleyball and track and field.    Moving here to the Beehive State, Brittany has found much success at ABC4 Utah, quickly moving up the ranks from a news producer, to a Social Media Correspondent for their Sunday night sports show Real Sports Live, to now working as a full time Reporter.
