Nivaadh was the first DJ ever in Zululand to be nominated and awarded the prestigious Zululand Chamber of Commerce Award when his single 'Whoopah' was in the Spinnin Records (Netherlands) Talent Pool Charts Top 30. In 2018, he was awarded "DJ OF THE YEAR" by City Awards.
