Previously on Dracul: Sartrum revealed to Catherine that he isn't exactly a human nor is he a vampire, but a fixed mixture of both. He tried to make a move on Catherine, which she blatantly rejected, so he left out of embarrassment. Dracul then showed up in her room later that evening to apologize and ensure Catherine that he means her no harm.

As her story begins with her first encounter with Dracul, his past and true nature is revealed as their story unravels a colorful side of the world Catherine never expected to see. Though this world brings new companions into her life, it also brings great dangers as it turns out that she and this dangerous man may have been connected longer before they first laid eyes on one another.
