Today we sat with Davonte Parsha AKA Dee With Da Helmet. Dee is a skateboarder who has a disease called "Von Hippel-Lindau" which is a rare, genetic multi-system disorder in which non-cancerous tumors grow in certain parts of the body. He has had both of his adrenal glands removed along with brain surgery. All of which has not stopped his dream of skateboarding. Dee is a skater. Once you listen to this podcast you will understand. With all the hardships he has endured throughout his life, he still manages to push on and progress his passion. It was a true pleasure to sit and chat with Dee and I hope his story inspires you.
