In this episode, we recount the events surrounding the births of our first children, Exie's in 1995 and Ciana's in 2010. Join us on a walk down memory lane that includes a spontaneous breaking of water, a humorous warning about the effects of castor oil, and how access to information impacted our babies' births. We have a good laugh at ourselves and discuss how our own experiences affect how we approach birth now as doulas.

In addition to being a licensed and certified massage therapist and sole owner of Tranquil Touch Therapeutic Massage For Women, Exie is an experienced doula and childbirth educator of 15 years and over 100 births. Ciana is a doula in training beginning her journey as a birth professional.  Join us for conversations about support, growth, and how we apply our doula skills in everyday life. Our goal is to have fun and share some education about pregnancy and birth along the way, including the occasional visit with a guest expert to share their wisdom with us.
