Episode 8 of The Double Down Podcast features a three-star prospect by Rivals, Scout, ESPN and 247 Sports. He was ranked as the No. 85 receiver in his class and as the No. 4 receiver in Illinois. He is currently in his 6 year with the Golden Gophers and has played in 46 games and has made 125 catches (12th all-time in school history) for 1,970 yards (ninth all-time in school history) and 13 touchdowns (tied for 13th all-time in school history). An ACL tear has taken him out for the rest of the Golden gophers season. Expect him to make a full recovery and be back for his seventh year at the University of Minnesota. that at one point in their career suffered some sort of
injury that kept them out of the sport they love. This
podcast will feature interviews about initial emotional
responses and stressors of the injury. Also, we will
talk in depths about mental health and the relation it
has in sports especially through injury and the action
of being sidelined from the sport you play. Lastly, me
and my guests will detail the physical battle of rehab
and the fight it takes everyday to get back to the
athletic level that they once were at.
