Today's episode features Ian O'Connell, the drummer of 2000's pop rock band Happy Endings. &nbsp;Ian retells the story of how his small town band caught the attention of legendary record industry mogul Clive Davis, and and went on to record in LA's best studios with the biggest rock producer in the world, Bob Rock. &nbsp;Ian's first hand account outlines the complexities of the industry and the what happens when talent and drive aren't enough to keep the industry happy.
Ian and his beautiful wife Tara live in Kansas City Missouri where they own and operate the city's number one hair salon and are planning to open a good old fashioned rock n' roll barber shop, complete with nudie mags in the waiting room.
