Lyndall is as warrior of love. Rather than try and and summarize her story, here is the email she sent me and caught my attention with including the links to her gifted sons YouTube page, and the crown fund link. She needs help to keep her son in recovery.

Hi Chuck,

So, background,

My son is now 21, been using drugs severely since 12/13. I was a teen mom, fell pregnant at 17. 8 years later, 7 rehabs later, a court order, prison, 4 overdoses and ICU he is still alive today. Clean for 3 months for the first time in 8 years. Just over 3 months ago he put a needle in his arm and overdosed and I decided to get him the naltrexone implant which only lasts for 3 months. It’s an opioids receptor blocker and has saved many lives. It’s not well known here in South Africa, there is only one doctor in Pretoria with the license to do it and he specializes in it. He actually fought many years in courts to get it approved here in SA because of all the money making from rehabs and the governments addiction subsidy.

So many rehabs later and being a single mom with no maintenance support from father I started a crown fund as I knew my son would not be alive another week if I didn’t do it. He needed a heroin detox obviously and then the implant. The implant alone costs R7000, it’s a capsule that dissolves after 3 months. For severe addicts they recommend at least every 3 months for a year till they have enough clean time behind them so that they can actually do the necessary step work and healing. The fund is still running as all the additional costs are crazy, outpatient treatment, medications as he’s also bipolar and new implant is due now in the next 2 weeks and I simply don’t have the funds - R7000 implant and flights to Pretoria and back from cape town another R5000.

I have been annihilated for going to social media with my sons story but I don’t care case it’s kept him out of the grave.

So, if you could post the link as every bit helps and his first song he’s recorded and released telling his story. He has many more to tell but hoping to have a record label notice him.

My book I am still writing called, ‘Bruised Knees & Sleepless Nights” I have attached a brief intro.

My story is long but I feel the need to share it.
Chat soon.
