<p>Genesis Chapter 24 we see a remarkable story of faith, prayer, service, and a willingness to act when God calls.  Rebecca and Abraham&apos;s servant lay out a simple model that will help us to act when God calls us and not wait:</p><ol><li>Start again from a place of faith -- not just to know who God is, but to really know Him</li><li>Be specific in your prayer, with patience and persistence</li><li>No matter the answer, do the work of serving others</li><li>Act when God calls you to act</li></ol><p>Ultimately, we need to let our faith and not our skepticism drive our response to what God is calling us to do.  God Bless!</p>

The Don't turn Back podcast takes Bible stories, passages, and topics that may have lost some meaning due to familiarity and repetition and tries to add back in the context to restore the full meaning of God's word.  The journey to Christ can be difficult, so let's use the word of God to sustain us so that when trials come up we can turn to Jesus and not turn back back to the boat.
