These stories help cultivate compassion. They also help answer a question all of humanity is asking today: Do you see me? We are God's image bearers - worthy of being loved and bound up. We are after all spiritual beings who need to be restored and bound up, physical beings who need healing and relational beings with a profound need for intimacy and community.
