His fist contact with music was at his father's TV production company, as a child he was always behind the scene but always dreamed of coming to the states. When he finished school 2003 he obtained a visa that would allowed him to come to New York.
There his fist weekend in the Big Apple his friends took him to the Legendary ROXY night club. Peter Rauhofer was his first taste of what was to become his passion for house music. A few years passed but he kept collecting music from the best producers in the buisness. In New York he had more opportunities to grow and gain more knowledge in the art of Djing. So after one long weekend in Miami for WMC and experiencing all the international Dj's from all over the world he decided to move to the sunshine state for a summer in 2005. Ryan Work a local promoter and Dj. Jalil from Miami heard Leo in a house party and they encouraged him to take the this seriously. So he did, Leo moved back to Chicago and got his first residency at the local club Jackhammer, Jimmy the owner gave him his first shot on a friday night. It was the push that he needed to go all the way he also picked up a shift at Club Hydrate doing the lights another one of his passion.
Dj. Leo Fernandes was born in the Chicago house scene and later on he teamed up with Miami's own Dj. JRNY to start collaberating on producing new tacks.
