Join Carmen Jimenez-Pride and Dora Henderson in discussing Diversity in the Playroom.    At a Safe Space Counseling LLC, I work with all races, ethnicities & the amazing LBGTQ community. I have a passion for teens and families who struggle with gender identity and for helping parents learn to accept and love their kids for who they are and want to be. My daughter had a time when she felt she was male, and this was a real struggle for my spouse, who had been brought up Catholic. Helping my daughter work on feeling loved and accepted, even though it was a tough time for her father was my main priority. I made sure she knew she was loved and safe no matter what. It had become a beautiful journey for them, but it was a transition. Supporting parents with this life transition, helping with grief, and working toward their journey toward acceptance is one of my passions. I love working with everyone- all brains are loved and accepted in my space. I also walked the walk with my children who are neurodiverse, so becoming a strong advocate for helping parents and kids get the support they need to have school accommodations and build strong self esteems is my passion.  I hope to see you at the Diversity of Play Therapy Summit! Join Carmen Jimenez-Pride and Jennifer Glacel discussing Diversity in the Playroom.  Jennifer Glacel, LCSW, RPT/S is the owner and founder of Seven Corners Psychotherapy. An experienced clinician skilled in working with children, teens, and adults for over 16 years. Jennifer is also a supervisor and trainer for other therapists working towards play therapy credentials. Jennifer has a background in Jungian therapy, sand tray therapy, and child centered play therapy. Airy that specializes in working with survivors of trauma. With a specialty in child therapy and parent-child relationship therapy, Stephanie delights in teaching and educating on the topics of play therapy, trauma, and the application of knowledge and skills to the treatment of children and families. He has extensive speaking and training experience and has worked in a variety of mental health settings. Most of Marshall’s clinical practice has focused on attachment trauma and its effect on family relationships.
