Celso is the Supplier Diversity Partner at Staples Promotional Products Canada. He takes a collaborative approach to building client relationships, leads a team of specialists in driving brand and creative strategy for over 70 partners, and partners with diverse suppliers to promote and grow diverse spend. Celso’s primary focus in DEI is supplier diversity and contributing to providing an equal opportunity to transact with medium and large corporations to small businesses owned by women, visible minorities, indigenous people, the disabled, veterans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. He has developed a passion for advocacy on behalf of these small businesses through his experiences working with them, learning about the challenges they face, their journey towards growth and marketing themselves. He has 2 daughters of mixed ethnicity that serve as a big motivator for him in supporting diverse-owned businesses.
