It’s episode 1! To kick things off with a bang, I convinced superstar songwriter James Newman to come and hang with me for a little while and play... Ditty In A Dash! We chatted about the hits he’s had and the never heard before back catalogue... but best of all of course, we picked a genre from the ‘hit hat’, flexed our musical muscles, set the timer and attempted to write a ditty, in a dash!!

The first series of Ditty In A Dash is here. Artist, musician and songwriter Frances will challenge some of her most creative friends to write a song from scratch in just 15 minutes. 
Each episode will see Frances invite a special guest into her home studio, once a fortnight, for a chat about their musical journeys, before setting the timer and getting down to business.
