"Are dreams a mere glimpse of the other side?

Failed to be recognized, while questioned, but not defined?
Messages to be deciphered, yet impossibly arranged?
For what belongs in this realm is unlike the other place?

What is it to know the dream

When the dream is all but shuffled,
Showing us our inner mind
Has feathers that are ruffled?

The further more we grow from self

The more we fail to see,
That the world we think surrounds us,
Is someone else’s dream.

But what are we to do

When cast into a shell,
Force-fed thoughts and views
That hides plainly in Hell?
If we are but lost,
That Hell becomes our home,
Where all our dreams combined
May trap us in a dome.

Yet clearly there is hope,

For the light, it still remains,
Waiting to be shone
Among the crooked lane.

That light emerges deep,

From deep within the soul,
Allowing all to see
That light will bring us home.

Are dreams a portal to another time?

A force to be reckoned within the mind?
A place to be seen but not understood?
A realm of all thought that surpasses “bad” and “good”?

Are dreams a message from our version of God?

The one the dreamer sees is creatively broad?
A vision to be seen based on held beliefs?
But not a reflection of the reality we all lead?

Whatever our perception of what it means,

I hope to see the dream where all have been set free,
For when we’ve been set free from our chains in bond,
We take the steps on to heaven & God."
