Words impact on us, negatively or positively; is mainly rooted not in what is said to us, but who said it to us. Because behind words (promise) is our knowledge of the person’s character & competence to make good on the promise. THEREFORE… when God gives us a word and makes a promise to us, we can be in full expectation of it happening for the simple fact, what He said is an extension of who He is!
