It’s international Women’s Day and Lisa is joined by her friend and veteran entrepreneur, Denise Cooper. Growing up, Denise never had dreams of owning her own business. She went to school with a plan of becoming a teacher or a counselor, but then she met her husband. Starting from nothing, Denise and her husband built up a successful equipment rental business.
For years she felt like a worker bee with no real title. 7 years ago, Denise’s husband handed her the reins and she took 100% ownership of the company. That shift changed her mindset and gave her a new outlook. She went on to further her skillset as a business owner and really found who she was. The new company culture was a catalyst for expansion.
