“Fancy going for a walk?” is a phrase we’ve all heard a lot during lockdown, but this week’s Future Labs workshop offers a walk with a difference! 

This podcast episode introduces our Future Labs facilitator John D'Arcy, whose workshop shows you how to create your own geo-located sound walks using the platform Echoes. We chat about the Echoes, sound walks, and our experience of sound during lockdown. We also get to know more about John's own practice and site-specific projects. 

Future Labs is a programme launched by the Digital Arts Studios in Belfast which aims to provide training and technical support for artists who wish to experiment with emerging technologies, develop skills and create new and innovative work.
