Shoshin is a word from Zen Buddhism meaning "beginner's mind." It refers to having an attitude of openness, eagerness, and lack of preconceptions when studying a subject, even when studying at an advanced level, just as a beginner would. Shunryu Suzuki once said "In the beginners' mind there are many possibilities and in the experts, there are few."


Breakthrough small-minded acorn brain thinking into the Limitless, Infinite thinking by challenging your own "expert" thinking and challenge the expert thinking of others as well... common sense has often prevailed over many "experts"... start by being willing to challenge the places you think you are the expert.
